helzi
I've played Oblivion for a while now, and up until now, it has been absolutely FINE! It all started when my computer began to give up slowly, and my PSU broke. So I got a new PSU, the same one my brother had, and could play Oblivion on with no trouble. I give it a shot, and the menu comes up, just like normal. I click on my previously saved game, and I'm OK for 2 seconds, then my computer makes a little "BZZRRRRTTT!" noise, and resets itself. Does anyone know how I can stop this, because I would REALLY like to play Oblivion again! Anyone who can help - Thank you. I love you.
helzi
I'd also like to add, my brother suggests getting a better PSU would work, but I need to know what others think before I get one. Please guys, any ideas?
RGMage2
I agree with your brother. Your problem started when your PSU gaveup on you. The PSU in your brothers computer might not provide enough power, depending on the configuration of your computer you might need more power. Also, cheap PSUs are un-reliable. Even though they may meet the required specs on paper, the actual performance may be less than advertised.
