BreacK
Hey guys!I really hope I put this in the right place, if not please move me. Anyways my problem is that im trying to wear armor but it is like way too big for my character like this: http://fs1.directupload.net/images/180202/temp/5lmc7d47.jpg I really dont know what this is caused by. I am not wearing a custom outfit its just a retexture of the vanilla military fatigues. It does that on certain other outfits too but I dont think it can be CBBE or Bodyslide or whatever cause theres a lot of outfits which have the armor fit just fine. I am really annoyed by this. Until now Ive just been hiding the armor with nother mod but im kinda getting tired of it. Thanks in advance for any suggestions, I really hope you guys can help me
SirTwist
It looks like the armor was modded, but not the body? Run Bodyslide, load the armor, and the body, and build the armor to the body.
BreacK
It looks like the armor was modded, but not the body? Run Bodyslide, load the armor, and the body, and build the armor to the body.1: How? I gotta admit i have no experience with bodyslide and/or outfit studio at all. 2: Im not sure if the military fatigues were originaly meant to be worn under armor. If not that might explain why armor still works perfectly fine on outfits like the vault suit. SirTwist
Open Bodyslide through your mod manager, and find the outfit, and make sure it's to your body, then at the bottom, hit preview to see what it will look like, then hit build. That should be all you need. If it's just the one. If more, then you can use batch build. There are some videos on how to use CBBE and Bodyslide out there. I tend to only download stuff that is CBBE compatible, since I use those bodies. However, if I were to switch to Atomic Beauties, I would still do the same, download compatible mods for that, and go through and build the outfits to the body I have selected. It's not hard to do, just may take some patience, and a little time.
BreacK
Well I cant find the outfit in Bodyslide since its vanilla... And since the armor is just the armor replacement that comes with cbbe it should be compatible right?
SirTwist
I have to look at something in bodyslide, see if there is a military fatigues in cbbe's stuff. Just a sec. Found it, under Outfit/Body, look for CBBE Vanilla - Army Fatigues. It should be between Armored Coat and Baseball Uniform. Make sure you have the same preset as used on your armor, and press build at the bottom. It should do it's thing, and be right in the game. I had to search for it myself. Maybe it was skipped over during a batch build, or something? Who knows? But if you run into this other places, remember, usually if it's CBBE, sometimes it's not exactly where we think it ought to be.
BreacK
Okay so the army fatigues and the combat armor are both built to the preset, but actually nothing has changed.
SirTwist
Okay, I was doing some thinking, here is what you might want to try, it happens sometimes when Body slide updates. Load up your body's preset in BodySlide, go to something like CBBE Body, or which ever you use. Build that, first, then hit batch build, and build everything over, again. Then go in game, go to where you have nothing on, then add the army fatigues, then the armor. It should be nearly normal then.
BreacK
Alright. First off, I really want to thank you for how much thought you put into this. But it still hasnt changed a thing :| I tried googling around a bit more and I found that I could maybe turn off the underarmor scaling option with the creation kit although it didnt seem to save my changes... Idk if you can help me with that though but it seems like m best shot as other people seem to have the same issue Edited February 18, 2018 by BreacK
