UNP mod question

was reading about how to install this mod (UNP mod) and said on what do if you have installed the enhanced textures dlc from bethesda, and about the skyrim.ini file and stuff you have to do to it before you install the mod so it will work. I just don't see the folder/file there at all so not sure what i can do.

thanks in advance :ermm:

i have another question though when they say to backup files before installing like for example

Data\textures\actors\character\female

* Data\meshes\actors\character\character assets

i see the data folder but in the folder are just files like textures and meshes are those files what they want you to back up?

and what do i need the 7-zip program for?

thanks again

Unless you have another body replacer installed, there won't be anything in your \meshes\ or \textures\ folders as all of the games default resources (and the Official HD Texture Pack's resources) are stored in the .bsa archives.

7-zip is an archiving program used to pack and extract different types of archives (.rar, .zip, and .7z are the most common). You'll need this to extract the archives you download here on the Nexus if you plan on doing a manual installation. If you're installing mods through NMM (highly recommended, especially for texture replacers) you don't need 7-zip as all of it's functionality is already incorporated into NMM.
