Make settlements relevant

I really wished there would be a mod that made all the settlements stuff relevant. I imagine a mod that gives you couple of random quests from settlers. Specific settlers have specific quests.

 

That way, settlement building would have a purpose.

That way, settlers would have a purpose.

 

1. Example: You have settler x in your settlement who suffers from an illness. To make him survive, you need to find a doctor and build a doctors stand. When you did that, settler x unlocks an ability that might help you with a quest from settler y. If settler x dies you have to find another way to please y.

 

2. Example: The mod would randomly choose some events. A new raider camp nearby. These could lead to more attacks -> you need to find people that are trained to protect your settlement. Or someone is kidnapped -> you can try find him yourself or you need a detective

 

The possibilites would be endless. But stuff like this would give settlement building a different means than only having the nicest or biggest building on reddit.
