yumenightfire27
So I just started using the G.E.C.K. Yesterday, and I LOVE it. It's so simple! But once it got too late I had to call it quits and I had to save and quit. I can't figure out how to reopen the file!! I hit open and selected my vault project, and after it finally loaded (It usually stops responding while loading, but if I'm just patient it finishes just fine) There's nothing in the render window. What did I do wrong? :wallbash: Thanks for the help in advance!!!
yumenightfire27
Thanks for the help guys, :armscrossed: lol. If anyone else has this problem, you need to load the master parent files (IE Fallout 3) AND the file of your project, then in the Cell list menu find your project name. :yucky: I'm tired.... I'm goin to bed...
caramellcube
When you loaded the project, did you set it as the active file? because it should automatically load all the parent files if you do that. Also, it's technically not the project name that you have to find in the cell list, it's the name of the cell you're working on (though if you call them the same name it doesn't matter). A mod can have a number of different cells and, as you've found, the GECK doesn't remember which you were last working on when you close. Come to think of it, it's possible to make a mod without any new or changed cells, so in that case you wouldn't need the render window.
