varkonasnorse
I apologize if this has been covered, but a search did not find anything. So I have created a new follower in the CK and she has her own .esp file. She came out great except, of course for the ugly vanilla hair. The procedure is pretty simple to apply ApachiiHair or KSHairdos, but my problem is with Creation Kit telling me I am loading too many master files and aborting the load. Here is what I am trying to load: Skyrim.esm (automatic)Update.esm (automatic)ApachiiHair.esmApachiiHairstyles.esp"my followermod".esp If I eliminate either ApachiiHair.esm or myfollowermod.esp then CK starts right up and loads the object menu, but not my follower's .esp file. This is frustrating. NOTE: I did not use RaceMenu to create the follower. I created her from scratch in the CK. Now, I have already edited the SkrimEditor.ini to reflect bAllowMultipleMasters=1, but this doesn't seem to work and CK still aborts my load based on too amny masters. Does anyone know a workaround for this condition? Much thanks in advance. Edited February 4, 2018 by varkonasnorse
Niborino9409
It should be working for you if you did that, but did you also do this? That's weird because I can open Skyrim + DLCs + Apachii + whatever else all at the same time... ? There's one other thing you have to do... (just remembered) In SkyrimEditor.ini you have to search for sResourceArchiveList2 Add your DLC's at the end of it as well... it should end on Update.bsa, after it add the DLC's in release order (... Update.bsa, Dawnguard.bsa, Heartfire.bsa, Dragonborn.bsa ). There's a few more lists there about the bsa files... not sure if you need to add them there as well... I think I did add them there just to be sure Edited February 4, 2018 by Niborino9409
varkonasnorse
Ok, I will see if that works. Nope. CK won't even start now. Main screen comes up, says "Initializing Windows" at bottom of screen, then just sits there and does nothing at all. I have to CTRL+ALT+DEL to Task Manager just to get rid of it. This sucks. I attempted to install another copy of CK and was, of course denied by Steam. At a loss for what to do now. Edited February 4, 2018 by varkonasnorse
varkonasnorse
Update: Seems my CK executable file was corrupted. I uninstalled it and installed a new file from Steam. Works like a champ now. All .esm and .esp files load properly. Yahoo!
