Miranija
Hello, I'm sort of a bookworm and I definitely like reading books in Skyrim while I have a free minute. I always wondered, why time can't pass while reading.Since I like to roleplay, I often read books in evenings after hard quest and then rest, and I just hate that time doesn't pass then. I would like to request such mod that allows time to pass while the player is reading.Of course, if that's even possible. If not I'll just continue hating. shotgun188
I think it's impossible since you read a book while your in your inventory and your inventory freezes time.
Linky1
I think it's impossible since you read a book while your in your inventory and your inventory freezes time. There is one way, based on this, it may be possible to make it so inventory doesn't freeze time, including books. But then everything, even just browsing items would pass time, unless you dont mid that?

Also I dont think I could do this, its just telling modders a way to do it :/ Sorry. If I find the time, Ill give it a go for you :)

I think I'd better just leave it the way it is. Though thank you for your replies.
branpurn
There was a Morrowind mod that every time a book was read from the inventory advanced the time randomly forward either 1, 2, or 3 hours. It'd be great if something akin to that could be done with Skyrim.
