How difficult would a Clank(Ratchet & Clank) mod be? Backpack/jetpack/heli? R&C Weapons?

A couple of the weapon mods faintly reminded me of Ratchet & Clank and got me thinking that the sci-fi of R&C possibly fits Fallout reasonably well.

 

  • How difficult would a Clank(from Ratchet & Clank) mod be? Custom models/textures of course, from scratch. It would function as a backpack plus jetpack if it's doable.

 

  • If it isn't too crazy to do perhaps the jetpack would function as a boost then simply reduce falling speed afterwards. So pretty much the same as they work now except perhaps the upward boost would happen more quickly. I like the current jetpack mods except it'd be great IMO if they could have a quicker effect like a booster jump, this would also make it make more sense with the high AP drain. Maybe some simple heli animations for Clank's helicopter attachment might be doable since it'd all be rotation based? Tricky part is it sort of "shrinks/grows" when it gets activated. I think if I decide to give the animation stuff in 3DS Max a go I'd give it a try.

 

  • Also, how difficult is it to make weapons have customized effects? Does it require some pretty crazy scripts, like those you can find if you check out some of the custom spell scripts in Midas Magic for Oblivion or Skyrim? Script Extender meaning the Xbox people can't use it? Are the "Glove" weapons possible?
