Mainquest problem

Hi there

 

I´ve got the F3 GotY edition and got the little but very irritating bug problem when i head back to the Citadell to speak with the Elder Lyons.

I cant talk to him and if i getin to close i will stuck without any option because of load a save or quit the game, wikkia say its an known issue

when you have installed Broken Steel.

 

What i want to know is there any bugfix(official or unofficial) wich solve that problem, my search was not very succesfull hope anyone here can help.

You are referring to when you escape from Raven Rock, and have to return to the Citadel with the Modified FEV Virus?

You get stuck as in the HUD disappears and you cannot move, or as in the quest does not progress?

How does loading a save or quitting the game cause you to get stuck?

 

4) wikkia say its an known issue when you have installed Broken Steel.

How is this related to Broken Steel, when its a bug with the main quest?

Hi,

you should be able to get past that problem with console commands (quoting the Wiki)

 

You can fix the problem of quest not progressing at BoS by typing "startquest 00014e8f" and "setstage 00014e91 1" in console then speak with Elder Lyons and quest will resume as normal. If you have Broken-Steel, you need to do "stopquest 00014e8f" after you have talked with Elder Lyons

2 + 3. Yes Hud will disapear and cant move, i cant go on with the mainquest but i can leave the citadell an do other stuff.

4. Heres what on wikkia stand:

With the Broken-Steel add-on installed, you won't be able to finish the Quest: After escaping Raven Rock and returning to the Citadel to report Elder Lyons, you find him in the Lab gathered with the Lyons Pride and Scribe Rothschild. Normally you would already hear Sentinel Lyons and Elder Lyons talk when entering the Lab. No talking is a bad sign. If you move closer, your Player will be unable to move.

 

Thats why its for me related with Broken Steel.

Thanks but didnt hlep still getin stuck if t get close to lyons, i´ve tryed get close enought without gettin stuck to speak to him but nothin happend(wont speak with me).

Try the enableplayercontrols command to get your controls back.

Thx Alfred the "contorl" command worked but didnt helped Lyons won´t talk to me.

I´ve tryed to set the quest with the "ssc" to stage 2 and talk to Sahra and it seems that it´s work but pffft it dont.

She and her soldiers went out but the robot not and its unable to activate cause terminal says "not enough power to do that".

 

Seems like i will finish my other stuff and try some mods wich are not yet installed, and if im boring of that maybe i will deinstall F3 and reinstall it without the DLC´s and go for the mainquesthttp://www.world-of-smilies.com/wos_ugly/s100.gif
