HalfLazy
Ok, I'm doing a bit of mess creating small feedbacks and updating them often, that I think I'm making this worse than helpful. So I decided to open a report here to keep track of the tests. As Said: Xcom 2 Switching between Bethesda and Xcom2 was fixed in the last patch, and I was able to switch to Xcom2. This is what happend: I run Vortex on an standard windows account (no admin privileges). I select Xcom2 to be managed by Vortex, Then I try to switch to it. Vortex requires me to authorize a new instance of itself with Admin privleges. Done. It opened a new instance of asking me to be authorized again by Nexus (done without problem). But the result was:The old instance remain Open (and try to switch to Xcom2, without success [2 alert])The new instance was totally empty (like a fresh install with no managed game at all, no profile, nothing) I closed the new instance and got back to the old and it's two alert: The first (That blocked the switch until solved): Couldn't find the mod Directory in ...\XCOM 2\XComGame\Mods[sOLVED by creating it manually] The Second: "Couldn't deploy Mods"[This I believe is related to not having Admin privileges, because the Deploy method with Xcom2 (Said in setting is "symlink deployment") requires Admin privs] Also, dragging the mod archive in the mods tab and then trying to install it result in an error. Now:It's obvious that this is all related to not having Admin privs, and I'm ok to give those privs when needed (so elevate Vortex when managing specific games) but I'd prefer the datas of Vortex commonly shared (Game managed, profiles, etc), not account based. Is this possible to fix this (with the time needed, respecting the priority list, etc.)? Or not because *reason*?[i don't need to know why, just if it's possible or it's better that two different instances dosen't share the same data]
