What are these lines in the game?

I'm a noobie to all this, so please bear with me. I have essentially followed the S.E.P.T.I.M. guide by Zackalope, for the visuals. The dark shadows in the grass have been bugging me. While looking around I saw these lines in the game where shadows only appeared on one side and on the other nothing. What exactly am I seeing happening here? Is it possible to completely remove those heavy shadows (left of line)? ( I tried using to generate link for this forum but preview keeps saying it's not allowed, can someone point me in the right direction for properly using images in a post?(allowed to embed?)) I couldn't find any helpful topics on what the acceptable way to do this is so here.

Sorry I don't know/understand the topic tags (new-b) or I'd have added those tho the post

***This has now been moved to https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/6378061-sse-what-are-these-lines-in-the-game/ - Thank you DrakeTheDragon (tried adding the images in the same way in the proper section and it gave me no trouble ****

Is this in Skyrim or Special Edition? As this is the "site" feedback, suggestions and questions section you posted in now, it'd be wiser to move this over into the correct game's section instead, so the people most knowledgeable about the game will find it quicker.

As for embedding images inside your posts, there's only very few restrictions in place on here. If you use the BBCode "img" tag, or the "Image" button from the editor menu bar above, you can enter almost every picture url there is, provided it ends on an allowed/recognized image file extension.

I don't know Imgur very much, not using it myself, but maybe you just hit the wrong button in your attempt to get to the sharing/embedding url/code? The Imgur "pages" for example, like what you linked above, of course cannot be used for embedding the "images" themselves. So if you tried to embed pictures with those same links, it's no wonder it didn't work. But like I said, I don't know Imgur myself, so can't help you with that.
