Applying a LOOT mod order at level 31

Hello, I have what may be a very silly question; Ok I installed and ran LOOT with no probs, it found all my supported games and gave me a load order for FO4 showing all green check marks and only a little different from my current load order (only 37 mods installed). So what I'm wondering is should I apply this new load order
with an ongoing play through (level 31 atm) or only apply for a new roll? And yes I read all the documentation and it never said to apply the new load order if everything looked good , just seemed to cover any errors encountered.
Maybe I'm being over cautious and should just trust in the force and click apply, but I would hate to break my roll again after several plays with incorrect mod orders.
