CountEyokir
Hi there. I've been working on making pack animals for Skyrim, but not of the usual horse variety (because that's been done a million times) Instead I am focusing on making currently two types of ride able pack animals with accessible inventories. So far I've managed to create a script, borrowing elements from the great Horse Inventory mod - https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/15842/ - allowing for the practical side of the mod. But right now I'm having trouble with the aesthetic side. Namely placing visible saddles/packages, on the mounts themselves.Since there are no readily available meshes made for placing on mammoths of cows (part of the reason I wanna do this) I tried to take some of those made for pack goats and horses and alter them in NIFskope so that they fit on the appropriate models either in the model itself or through bodyparts in the CS.All my efforts seem to run into the same problem. I am to have the mesh set in NIFskope, I did the altering right, set the coordinates, the bones and applied - made sure I set it to the right body slot. But no matter what I tried the altered meshes simply did not turn up in the CS. They were totally invisible.Obviously I'm doing something wrong so I'd appreciate help/advice or anything to help me with this
TheWormpie
Plenty of things could cause this, but a detail I've forgotten a lot of times is setting the shader flag "Skinned" in the BSLightingShaderProperty block details. A lack of this minor tweak causes the object to be invisible in-game.
