Need help with CK object model

can anybody tell me how to change the model of an existing object with the CK? such as turning an imperial load door into a gravestone so the player can activate it and enter an interior?

Copy the .nif path from the gravestone to the door. it won't have any animation, but it will act as if it was a door. Did this to a mesh that was originally just a normal static, might not work with all the time though, i have only done that 4 times or so.
