Performance issues?

I'm new to the creation kit. I wanted to clear an area at the top of Mass Fusion building of debris and make the area clear for a fresh build with a build anywhere mod. I removed all layers except the area i was working on but found the additional layers came back, also the camera kept dropping to ground level and the performance was abysmal. I have a GTX 1060 6gb, 32gb ram and a intel core i7-6700 processor. If this is not enough could someone let me know please?

Mate, I use the CK on an HP laptop with Intel 5500 graphics on a mobile i5... and I have zero issues, so Im inclined to think something else is at play to cause your noticed performance drop.

You disabled the game's static batching for that cell by modifying the placed objects, of course performance is going to drop.

With Fallout 4, don't modify existing exterior objects. You can modify interiors and redo the static batching, but for exteriors it's ill-advised.

Are you referring to precombined meshes?
