Muennin
Admittedly, this is perhaps my least Memod oriented post to to date. With that said, however, I would like to state a longstanding observation. I reside in Southern California, and having just switched channels during the latter part of our evening news, I'm rather puzzled. It seems as though all the male Weathermen here seem hell-bent on adopting "Game Show Host" personas. Most distatesful and "falsey" to me. I suspect that in this particular region of the "Visual Media" Mecca of the new world they might be aspiring to achieve future careers as Pat Sajak and the like. Nevertheless, I welcome all and any observations. Is this also the case where you live? To what do we owe this strange phenomena...?
Eltiraaz
Thats the television industry. Find out what's working for one person; copy it, package it, and sell it to the highest bidder.
Breton Thief Oriana
I've noticed that the weather-guy on WDSU in my city is different. he actually says stuff in a normal way.
Arsisis
Maybe they stole the idea from action movie heros going into government? "it works on another channel, so it will work here to."
