so I get to building an interior and link it just fine to the overworld, I line up all the walls and floors and place all the objects I want and it looks great. I go into the game and play it, it looks nice. i save the game and then make more changes, and then come back, no problem, I make more changes and now I'm missing a table. I go into the editor and delete the table, replace it and enter the game, it looks fine, but now I'm missing a custom chest. I go out move it around in the editor and resave, it's back, the table's still there, but now a section of floor up on the second level is missing! and a few other chests have gone AWOL! what in the heck is going on? is this some setting problem? need a patch? or am I missing something entirely?

yeah I know the problem...owk the problem is the plugin saves. So you have build an house with an simple interoir. Then you save the game, shut down tes and check it in the game. When you open the plugin again with the TCS and add some furn. and save it you will notice that all the things which you have made the last time with TCS are disapeared. So this is what you have to do. Everytime when you have edited an plugin, select all the things which you have made and move them 1 step forward. Then press ctrl-z and save your game and check it in the game and youll see that it's fixed and nothing has disapeared ^_^

ok, so every time I want to go into the editor and add things, I have to move EVERY ITEM I HAD PREVIOUSLY PLACED? that doesn't make much sense we're talking hundreds of objects, and what about the missing room section? Also if I did go in and move everything around a bit, I can place everything back where it originally was right? I just have to move everything to remind the TES editor that the items are there?

jup all or you could save it as a new plugin each time but be sure to enable all the plugins when you are starting the game otherwise some objects are missing...I dunnoh there was a program which can merge plugins....

You know I got to thinking about what you said and realized that when i want to make changes I can't have stuff laying around on the inside of my map when I move the whole thing around, or their relative location is moved, I can always just resave it as a differant file name, and it seems to work just fine, everything is back in place and the textures all merge up no problem now. Thanks for the help and suggestion.
