Transient3292
so I think I've gotten about all of the info I can on the Internet about IC. all I'm looking for now is different experiences with multiple people's modlists. what town and city overhaul is everyone using, and do they notice the effects of immersive citizens? I remember past playthroughs that I couldn't even tell if it was working, but in my current playthrough , it's probably the most important mod on my list. everything feels so lively, and the townsfolk seem less scripted than any game Ive played, including fallout 4. I'm using dawn of skyrim director cut, as well as arthmoor's village overhauls, and settlements expanded. my only problem is performance in whiterun, and from what I've read DoS is the lightest overhaul around. still considering making some changes before I get too far into a game, so please don't hesitate to share your mod lists and experience with them, if you use immersive citizens. even if you're not, do the npcs stand around, or do you run into them at random places? Transient3292
in case anyone gets directed here by Google in the future, putting immersive citizens early in load order made a massive difference in npc's navigation. I know most people recommend this, but IC author himself says to put it after all other mods, and loot puts it towards the end of load order, and puts all of my location overhauls very early in load order. I don't like to argue with loot usually, but in this case making sure IC was before dawn of skyrim made the cities work even better than before.
