SirCumference64
I realize this title is a bit of an odd one, but I've hit a wall on a CTD issue and can't find any guidelines. I made a mod for 32-bit Skyrim here: https://www.nexusmod...im/mods/87316/? It allows players to transform into any type of monster in the main game as well as the DLC, with all their attacks and spells and what have you, and it works as intended. When I transferred it over to the SE, after doing some research on what that entailed, I found that with certain monsters (and I wish I could make that more specific but the creatures that don't work don;'t have much of a discernible pattern) would immediately cause a crash if you try to attack with them. The more humanoid creatures like Falmer and Draugr don't cause this crash, though Flame Atronachs and Rieklings do, so that was a dead end for me. This issue seems to be tied to the main game itself, as when I turned my mod off and used setrace to play as a Draugr, I could attack without a crash, but when I turned into a Hagraven, as soon as I attempted to go into attack mode I got a CTD. I ended up removing the SE version of the mod and re-posting it with just the creatures I could confirm work without crashing, since I never found a solution. I was curious if anyone out there was aware of this glitch, or if there were any other SE shapeshifting spells that had experienced it and gotten around it. I'm not too familiar with modding the SE so I'm hoping this is fixable. As for the content of the mod, all the meshes are just Bethesda skeletons with camera bones added to them, and the scripts are mostly just FX scripts with a couple of spells and the main shapeshifting script. Beyond that, there's just a seq file and some voice sets. I'm hoping someone will have an idea on this, because I'd love to get the full version of this mod working on SE.
