EasternRomioi3 Posted February 13, 2018 Share Posted February 13, 2018 Hello there, I have a real quick question. My Skyrim game takes a long time to save now, like 20-40 seconds. My saves are well into the 10,000s. I clean up my old ones, deleting them every now and then, plus I have the saved to the Cloud, so it doesn't take up space on my PC. So in actuality, there are only like 20-30 saves at a time that I can roll back, but one is like "save number 11,112" another is "11,113" and so on. Is it simply because of the long numbers I have next to the saves? That is the ONLY thing I can think of as it appears the time it takes to save increased as I got closer to higher numbered save files. My game has no performance issues, no loading issues whatsoever, just saving, so I am curious if anyone has a suggestion. Is there a way to revert my save files numbering down to file 1, 2, 3, etc, etc? It's not a major issue, I just miss the days when I used to go into dungeon, hit save, wait 2-3 seconds, then go.
