Raynn Posted April 6, 2012 Share Posted April 6, 2012 Hello! I'm new to modding and I'm having a little trouble, I'll explain step by step what I did. 1. Extracted sniperrifle.nif using FOMM2. Imported sniperrifle.nif and edited the rifle to my liking using Blender3. Exported editedsniperrifle.nif to fallout/data/meshes directory4. Using G.E.C.K. I replaced the model with the one I want5. Saved the .espand up to this point everything was fine, the rifle looked as intended in Blender, Nifskope and G.E.C.K. however when I reload the .esp WeapSniperRifle mysteriously disappears if I leave first person model object as it was which is 1stPersonSniperRifle, in-game the rifle will still appear but unaltered. The only way for the altered rifle to appear in-game is to switch first person model to none and even so it will only appear in 3rd person view although it's not completely gone in 1st person view, part of the barrel is visible as if it was moved back a little.
