bigfoot343
I have an idea that would allow you to become High King after you complete either the Empire or Stormcloak questline. For the Empire questline I was thinking after taking Windhelm, you could gain the option to marry Elisif and have a moot of the Jarls to elect you as High King. For the Stormcloak questlione there could be the option of challenging and overthrowing Ulfric after the questline. Because you are Dragonborn and the Stormcloaks are proud nords they could swear their allegiance to you. Of course becoming High King would give you certain benefits. Perhaps after you become High King you could be given certain Diplomatic quests, with the surrounding kingdoms of High Rock, Hammerfell, and Morrowind,(maybe even Empire if you become High King through the Stormcloaks, or Thalmor if You become King through the Empire quests). anne
Funny, I was thinking the same way tonight and nearly started a topic. Although I would favor this possibility only from the stormcloak side (there is no fun being a High King with an empire threatening me...) I am open. I was thinkng that ploting with Elisif who has a good claim to the throne (marrying her if you're a guy, being supported by her as her champion if a girl) would be fun. As a seasoned adventurer, the player has many friends in the game, all can be allies. The better allies could be the former pro-empire who have lost against the stormcloaks and want at least their power back (not the empire :-) )
893kira
If we go lore friendly it is much better to become a Jarl. Seriously whats the point of siding a civil war if you would just become a thane that would give you a little bit immunity in crime, a crappy weapon and a crappy house. Also it will be totally cool you would manage a town in Skyrim kinda like in Two Worlds 2 you got a custom village.
