Dazzor
So I made a fairly big mod and released a few updates and on my computer, and other people who have downloaded it claim it works perfectly, but one guy says it doesnt work for him.Is this happening because maybe he has other spells that mess with mine? Or generally other mods that mess this up for him, because I want to fix what ever is causing him the problem but I dont have it so I have no clue how to fix it. David Brasher
Skyrim is not reliable for mod usage like Oblivion was. If you built and packaged your mod perfectly, I would expect that a certain number of computers, perhaps less than 1%, would not be able to use your mod and have it work right. Nobody has been able to explain why this happens. So all you can do is build your mod right and package it right. After that, it is all in the hands of the Divines. SkjoldBjorn
Yeah, sometimes you can get unexpected bugs for some individuals. There are a lot of factors that play in here. I have this in my mods to especially the one that is script heavy and with custom meshes. If i were you i would suggest telling him to up your mod in the load order and see if the error persists. If you are going to fix bugs for everyone you will tire yourself out. For all you know his game directory might have bad sectors that can cause major bugs, mostly that would make things crash or not show up at all. So many issues could be a local computer problem and out of your hands. Remember that you are a modder, you are doing this for fun, don't tire yourself over one induvidual with bugs. Not saying that you should'nt give a damn, just don't waste to much time on it.
