As this problem only occurs with certain objects or actors, it would seem to be related to a missing "map" for the texture (e.g. "Diffuse Map", "Glow Map" "MipMap", etc.) See the "Glossary" "NIF" entry on the TESTG site. Other than getting the author to correct the problem for you, you will need to try to "optimize" the file yourself. See the "Utilities" and "Optimizing Files" pages on TESTG. (While written for Oblivion and "The Elder Scrolls" series of games, the basics apply across the Bethesda line, and most games I believe.) Not something I have much experience with.

 

This is not really a "technical" issue as is normally addressed in this section. It's a problem with the texture file itself. You might want to try to isolate which mods the texture files are coming from. Please see the 'Issue: Find the source mod-index of an object in-game ' entry under the 'Solutions to Mesh (Red "!" icon) or Texture (solid color) problems' section in the wiki "Fallout NV Mod Conflict Troubleshooting" guide on how to do this.

 

Then PM a moderator and have them move this thread to the "Mod Talk" sub-forum, where you are more likely to catch the eye of a mod creator familiar with the issue. (Or you can create a new topic there. Your choice.)
