VinnytheJackal
So I'm pretty new to using mods (shocker since I'm posting here), but courtesy of mod manager I've managed to have fair success so far with getting the mods I download to run properly, save for anything involving crafting or the inclusion of new armor or items, particularly if they're also craftable. For example, I downloaded the Dwarven Mehcanical Equipment mod, ran through the necessary quest, had my smithing skill level with the Dwarven perk included and nothing. Same thing with the Winter is Coming fur cloaks, and the Black Tower and Black Sacrament Armor Pack. I go to the forge, and there is nothing different. Just the standard stuff. There isn't even a "Other" or "Misc" category at the forge. What is bizarre to me though is that I've been using MAK's CBBE Remodeled armors with no issue, along with a few other mods that simply replaces existing files with a modified version, but if craftibility is thrown into the mix it doesn't seem to work. I am thoroughly confused and twice as frustrated and would greatly appreciate any help or advice.
koolko22
I got the same thing.First, try to install those mods manually, there are enough topics on how to.If the problem persists:1.Download the file manually.2.Just place the .esp or .esm file in the data folder. Wait with the .bsa file!!3.Unpack the .bsa file with a bsa unpacker.4.place the unpacked folders in the folder in the data map, So if the unpacked file has the name meshes, place it in the meshes folder in the Data file in the skyrim directory.Hope this helped!
