ImNotCrazy44
I'm looking to edit the way some armor looks while its being worn. How can I extract the model of the worn armor to use in something like 3DSmax? (I'm trying to alter a suit of armor and eventually import it to pepekura designer to make a physical replica lol...I'm not good enough at 3D modeling to make anything usable in game yet haha.)Any help at all would be greatly appreciated. Perraine
You'll need this .BSA viewer/extractor first, then open the **meshes.esm and **textures.esm files to find what your looking for then extract them. AFAIK their is some issues with using 3DSMax with .nif files, BUT, there are several tutorials stickied at the top of the forum that gives you a pretty thorough walk through ... ImNotCrazy44
Thank! :DAm I supposed to download .BSA viewer/extractor with nexus mod manager or manually? I downloaded and activated it with mod manager...but I don't quite understand how to use it to view or extract things after that... EDIT: Seems I was supposed to download it manually, as now I can open the program. If you happen to know off hand of one of these tutorials that deals with 3DSmax or z-brush, I'd love a link.
