[ Mod Request/Help: ] Help on replacing armor models with radzigs and/or divishs armor

Ive currently began unpacking all the neccessary files from the game, whatd id like to do is get help or to see if someone can replace the meissen or noble armor set with radzigs armor or divishes armor, or at the very least help me find out what armor sets are named what so I can do it myself. Any help is appreciated! Or if youd like to do it yourself that would also be appreciated! I think itd be awesome to be able to have radzigs and divishs armor AND clothing as wearable. We run around the game without enough *noble* looking equipment.

 

So the goal of this request/help has four pieces:

 

#1 - Replace an armor set with Radzig's armor

 

#2 - Replace an armor set with Divish's armor

 

#3 - Replace clothing with Radzig's clothing

 

#4 If 1-3 arent do-able then use the armor/clothing models to make new sets for Henry's Skeleton

Hey man ! Have you made any progress ?

 

I have found the textures and model files for radzig outfits under the name racek, in cloth part-0 and characters.pak (objects\characters\humans\skeleton), but no file (items.xml or such) "calling" for them.

 

Perhaps it is possible to simply replace all files for a particular outfit with the radzig ones, but I have no idea which body parts the files entail, so it would be a huge fail and retry method. Also, many data are in xml file to make the items look like they do (brightness...), and I do not know what those parameters are for radzig.

Myself and the team I work with have made progress, weve found the armor id's radzigs stuff, and I can even open up his cdf file in cryengine now. The issue is Warhorses way of ID Construction is near OR is randomized, so until we can figure out how it works we cant even replace an armor piece with radzigs/divishs items

 

The worst part is that divish's and radzigs armor while made of attachments like the playable armor is, is hardcoded just for them so it isnt like we can just pull the items off them and onto one of the armor pieces already in-game

 

In order to get radzigs/divishs gear to be playable we have to find the attachments item ids, then figure out the construction path, and then put them in a pre-existing unused armor piece and change values etc etc

 

So while we are still working on it, I would advise not to get your hopes up UNTIL modding tools come out OR we can figure out how they construct armor id's etc etc

Ah that's too bad... That also explains why none of the simple "replace an item skin and mtl files with radzig ones" have not achieved anything. I have also tried changing henry cdf skeleton file with radzig's one, but nothing happend.

 

Anyway, i am glad to learn that people are still working on it, and thank you for the update !
