BlackCompany
What I don't understand, is this: Morrowind was the game that brought Bethesda back from the brink of disaster. when they were down and out, they created Morrowind, and it sold like mad. Millions bought the game. Both on PC, and on console. Morrowind was also a complex, complicated RPG in a truly alien world, with a relatively high barrier to entry. There were no quest markers and no hand holding. There was no babysitting people. And people loved the game for all these reasons. So, if that did so well....why would you then begin to "streamline" that design as time goes on? If so many people bought the game because of its depth and complexity why would you change that going forward?
