Crashing to Desktop after the Bethesda logo (mod enabled)

Alright, I'm getting real annoyed at this by now. I've been trying to get this freaking mod that replaces spiders with crabs installed. Whenever I enable the thing in the data files, the game will not go pass the Bethesda logo and will instead close to the Desktop. I've tried ALL of the suggestions for configuring the sound, it never works. I'm running a Sapphire Radeon HD 6670 (GDDR5) if you need that info. I've tried setting the Sound quality to everything below the default of 24-bit 48k and it never seemed to work. If anyone has any suggestions for this, please reply because I've been searching for a resolve and haven't found one that worked for me.

does the included mod have a folder called scripts? did you add that folder in your data folder?

Majority of the time when skyrim fails to load is caused by something it can't find since you are changing all frost spiders to mud crabs. i'm pretty sure the mod has some sort of script folder telling it where to go instead.

I have the same problem, when I used to start the game from Mod Manager the game started normally however no mods were working.

So now I start the game from the launcher, however when I do this and game crashes after the Bethesda logo. However when I turn off (dovahkinrelaxes, Sea of Ghosts and few other mods the game works fine). Please can some help me with this issue really want to use these mods.

I get the same but with an armor mod. It seems to only contain meshes and textures but claims to be a fully craftable armor. Kind of annoying, really. I've isolated the problem to Khantu's Armor mod that runs on UNP but only UNP armor seems to cause this, nothing else.

I wonder what's wrong with my computer and custom armor.
