OrbitalWaR
I was trying to delete some trash lying around in the settlement and I had found that it was easy to disable a floor tile, then enable it immediately after and then without exiting the console yet click on the trash and type "DISABLE" then when leaving the console by pressing the tilde " ` " key, the floor would fade back. Well... I forgot to type enable before I clicked on the garbage so when I left the console the floor tile didn't fade back in leaving me with a huge hole in the floor, right now it's covered by some concrete flooring but it just looks very out of place and I was wondering if it's possible to re-enable the floor tile. https://i.imgur.com/nvEM4tt.jpg Edited February 18, 2018 by OrbitalWaR
Perraine
Only if you know the original ref. ID of that exact floor piece. You may be able to look it up in the CK, but I'm not sure if it generates a unique ref. ID for each game or each visit to the cell, or if it's fixed and static. If you know the ref. ID you can use the PRID function to have following functions performed on that ref ID.
OrbitalWaR
Actually I think I just solved by problem by using my brain... Load back earlier to a save, click it, get the ref, go back to my current save and enable it, I'll update if it works. Update: Still gone Edited February 18, 2018 by OrbitalWaR
kevkiev
Even if you exit console, the last refid you had active will be there the next time you go into console. I do that all the time with my companions - as soon as I hire them I click on them in console so, assuming no intervening console commands on a different NPC (or object), their refid is always there in case I need to go into console for "moveto player". (Avoids the whole "prid" thing, and having to remember their refid.) So, in a case like this (if it happens again), just going back into console and using the "enable" command should do the trick. OrbitalWaR
The problem is I clicked the floor tile typed "Disable" then clicked on some floor trash which got rid of the refid and making it impossible for me to re-enable the floor. And I would rather not load back cause the last save I had with the tile was an hour to an hour and a half before I started building. Why I didn't load back at the time is a mystery to me. Perraine
As I said, I'm not sure if the ref. ID is fixed or if it's generated per game/save. If it's fixed, you could look it up in the CK, if it's random or generated, your SOL.
OrbitalWaR
I tried the CK, nope, won't even launch and I have no idea why it wont. At this point I'm gonna use Transfer Settlements and just load back thanks for trying to help. EDIT: I got the CK to work, now I just have to figure out how to use it Edited February 19, 2018 by OrbitalWaR
