It is not always clear which quests can be failed by taking too much time to progress. Some sort of notification would be helpful to know when players can take their time to train or do side quests. My suggestions:

1. Have a line on the quest log that says it can be failed by taking too long.

2. Show a timer on how long the player has for the quest, or make it in game with notes saying things like "I have plenty of time" or "I better hurry"

3. Disable the quest timers so the game waits on the player, like in other games.
