Need some pointers regarding modding...

Okay. So I need some pointers regarding in what order to install mods and I'd appreciate if someone could take some time looking at the rather long list of mods below, that I have downloaded. I'd assume the unofficial bugfixes and such goes first. Then the visual improvements and lastly, mods that make changes to things such as combat or NPC behaviour, etc.

I know ENBs would conflict with eachother (obviously) and likely other mods aswell that I have downloaded. I downloaded several as I'm not 100% sure which ones to use yet. Of the conflicting ones, I mean. I've read both this and that regarding BOSS and LOOT (the ones you use from within the Mod Manager) so I'm not really sure what to use there either.

 

Also, take backup of the data files in Skyrim? I've already copied my save files and the ini files to a separate folder.

Oh, yes, one more thing. Why's the Better Dynamic Snow mod gone from the downloads? I can only find the Special Edition one and I don't have SSE.

to answer your last question first , you can actually find Better Dynamic Snow for Oldrim

it's found here https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/11/?

it's a part of The Ruffled Feather file , under the Miscellaneous section

it seems like the author has removed all his mods , so you can't find them in separate pages , but this file seems to have all of them

 

if you are planning to use Mod Organizer , you do not need to backup any of the game's files , as MO doesn't install mods directly to your game's folder

in fact , if you plan to use MO , installation order isn't really that important . because of the way MO works , you can just move mods inside MO , and this will change the order in which they are loaded , and therefore change which mods overwrites which mods

 

beyond this , just check every mod page for the ones you wish to use , and look at the installation instructions

some mods require others to be installed prior or after them (from first glance I don't see such mods in your list , but you should check anyhow)

just make sure you have all required mods , and follow installation instructions , and you should be fine

Says something about only supporting Legendary versions in the description. But would that affect a lone esp file?

 

Edit: Oh yeah, DynDOLOD. Not sure how to use that.

I honestly don't know about it

the easiest way to find out is to download the file and install in your mod manager , and seeing if the plugin requires the DLC esm plugins

if it only requires Skyrim.esm (and update.esm) , then no DLC is required

but you will have to check it to see

 

the project itself is build around the full LE , so this is what you read on the project's mod page

but check that specific file to know for sure
