mod problems

Not really clear what you're asking. More details please?

Sorry about my clarity, My issue is that I have set up several mods in Nexus Mod Manager and followed the instructions on how to change my .ini files, but it seems as if my mods aren't working in game. I have Start Me Up and Full Dialogue Interface in my load order, but they aren't working in game, my jet pack ring mod is the only one I could confirm was working, and i was wondering if anyone knew a solution to this problem.

Well, I can tell you for a fact that Start Me Up and FDI work. I've used them both pretty extensively.

In NMM, you should see two tabs near the top of the window: "Mods" and "Plugins". "Mods" are the overall mod packages that you've downloaded from Nexus and are now having NMM manage. "Plugins" are the ESM/ESP plugin files that those mods installed, the actual plugin files that make up your load order.

Take a look at the Plugins tab and verify that all your plugins are checked and in the right order. If some are unchecked, that means that you've loaded the mods into NMM but haven't actually activated them into the game. If you don't see the plugins at all, that means that you haven't installed them. Go back to the "Mods" tab, find the relevant mod, double click it and ensure it's installed. Double check it in "Plugins".

If you see all the correct plugins there and they're all checked and in the right order, fire up FO4Edit and let it crunch your load order. That will tell you right away if you're missing masters, don't have the load order right, or if you're running into errors that are crashing your build.

Go do all that and let us know what you find. Offhand, my guess is that you've probably loaded the mods in NMM but haven't actually installed some of them.

All my plugins are set up, How do I run FO4Edit?

Download and install it:

https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/2737

Follow instructions (TES5Edit and FO4Edit are the same program):

https://www.creationkit.com/index.php?title=Category:TES5Edit

Then read the manual:

https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/38413

I seem to have fixed most of the mods, but I'm having issues with FDI not detecting my changes to the .ini files, whenever I open NMM FDI is disabled and when I enable it, it tells me that I have to make the changes even though I already did? Any idea on how to fix that? I appreciate the help btw
