Revan770
Ok, I want to edit EXISTING hairstyle. That one: http://s56.radikal.ru/i154/1204/3e/87f804122544.jpg I want to remove long hair tail on right. Steps: 1) Import hair20.nif in 3ds max: http://s004.radikal.ru/i207/1204/ec/64333ce2cf19.jpg http://s019.radikal.ru/i620/1204/35/7a2f3da0be0c.jpg 2) It has 2 parts: HairB and HairF. a) I choose HairB, delete his BSDismemberskin Modifier. Edit vertex geometry in editable mesh modifier. b) Do same things with HairF. http://s019.radikal.ru/i603/1204/b3/c1a2f2395a48.jpg 3) Add BSDismemberskin Modifier to HairB. Choose torso and select all mesh. http://s019.radikal.ru/i608/1204/e3/e11af04f1df4.jpg 3a) Do same thing to HairF. 4) Export as myhair.nif http://s019.radikal.ru/i631/1204/f0/2e3482f44253.jpg 5) Open myhair.nif and hair20(original one) in Nifscope http://s017.radikal.ru/i433/1204/80/6f78a0993a2d.jpg 6) Go to NitriShapeData - Has Vertex Color - yes (do it to both HairF and HairB) 7) Go to BSdismemberSkinModifier - Partions - Change Bp_Torso to 131. (Original model has 2 partitions 131, and 141, but my new model has only one so i choose 131) Do it to HairB and HairF http://s019.radikal.ru/i618/1204/03/99f0f3d3bdea.jpg 8) Save as hair20. nif (original one) and get that in game: http://s019.radikal.ru/i643/1204/ec/3e8af6a67161.jpg PS: In step 7 i tried to set 141 not 131 - same result.I tried to copy branch BsLightningShader from original one - same result. nivea
You could try flipping the normals of the top hair, right click on mesh and flip normals.

If i want to change hair_xx to a short hairstyle,i have to cut bothI recommand you to use nifscope to have a preview of these nif files, and then you may understand what i meanI hope it will help  Edited April 12, 2012 by PollonRain
