Mod that is supposed to spawn item ... doesn't

Full Disclosure: I am not a mod author (but I am a Mod. )

In an attempt to correct an accidental mod deletion, I uploaded the "Ancient Elven Boots Fix" from the BSN.

It contains two versions of the .dazip file. One is supposed to make said boots spawn in the location they were intended to be in the vanilla game. That one works. The other is supposed to spawn them directly into the player's inventory so that the boots can be acquired even after leaving Lothering.

The mod was simply a copy of the Project file found on the BSN, which I tested to ensure that both parts were present, and that they extracted from the archive correctly. Now I've received a Report that the "General" fix version does create an item notification message and the Codex entry, but no Boots!

I've be able to duplicate this behaviour using a save made soon after Lothering.

Hoping someone can point me to the parts of the mod I should examine to correct this problem I would really appreciate any help I can get.

TIA!

Thx for the info, setiweb! I fixed the BSN url. Will take a look at the .uti this evening.

Anytime. "Typically" if something that was there goes missing it's either the specific name or ID number that got typo'd or the name of the file that it's in.

Well.. there's no .uti file to examine. At least not directly...

Here's what the mod contains:

If the only thing that isn't working is the auto-add to inventory, I'd double-check the script and make sure it references the correct UTI.
