Adipose
My game became so buggy that I got fed up, uninstalled it, went to play Witcher Three for a while and then got a craving for Skyrim and did a new download/install. Game's, for the time being, running much more smoothly. Anyone know why? Did the uninstall get rid of a bunch of corrupt files, or... ?
forskyrimmods
We're you using any mods? If it was the vanilla game I would say the longer you play a save game the more likely you will get bugs. So if you put 100 hours into a save game there is a higher chance for bugs but that's just what I have personally observed.

Around 175 installed at the moment. Those were all saved and plugged into the new game from the beginning.
