Standard FOIP mod list not working

Hello,

I downloaded a lot of mods I wanted to use but couldn't get them working together, so I decided to use the list of five mods that FOIP gives in its example load order. I set it up how I think it should be, but in the game after being born and going to the Alternate Start house, the game hangs. Sometimes it hangs immediately and sometimes after a minute or two. The music continues to play, though. Here is my load order:

The only thing I suspect is the file "EVE Anchorage - FWE DLC Anchorage.esp." I unchecked it when I made the merged patch because FO3 Edit had complained about not being able to find "EVE Anchorage." This file is listed in the FOIP example but it isn't in the EVE zip. I also tried installing to C:\Games and changing the ini file as described here: http://forums.somethingawful.com/showthread.php?threadid=3186281 since I have Windows 7 and an i7 CPU but it does the same thing. I clicked Yes to overwrite all when installing FOMods. Here is what I did:

1. Install FOMM 0.13.21 (Was already installed for New Vegas)

2. Install Fallout 3 GOTY (All DLCs + Updated to 1.7.0.3)

3. Copy over FOSE v1.2b

4. Turn on Archive Invalidation in FOMM

5. Install FOMod Project Beauty HD Version

6. Copy over ESP for Project Beauty (HD Version) to Data folder

7. Install FOMod FWE (MR 6.0 Parts 1+2 and 6.03 Hotfix)

8. Install FOMod WMK 1.1.9

9. Install FOMod MMM RC 61

10. Install FOMod EVE 0.96 + 0.96 Important Update

11. Install FOIP for FWE and EVE

12. Install FOIP for MMM and FWE

13. Install FOIP for Project Beauty and FWE

14. Install FOIP for WMK and FWE

15. Use FO3 Edit to make a merged patch

druzyek - Hello!

You've got the Mart's Mutant Mod - Master Menu Module.esp ticked & loading below Mart's Mutant Mod - FWE Master Release.esp, it will be overriding it.

Mart's Mutant Mod - FWE Master Release.esp replaces the MMM menu so untick the MMM menu & remove it.

As to the freezing, it could be the multi core bug.

Fallout 3 has trouble with multi core computers, mainly with ones that have more than two cores & use hyperthreading.

There is a fix, you need to edit your Fallout 3 .ini file.

The one you want to change is:

For XP:

My Documents\My Games\Fallout3\

For Vista & Win7:

Documents\My Games\Fallout3

The file you want will be called:

FALLOUT.ini

Open the .ini with Notepad & change this line:

bUseThreadedAI=0

to:

bUseThreadedAI=1

& insert this line under it:

iNumHWThreads=2

Save & close your ini.

Hope this helps!
