Base Palette Customiser Mod Not Working help needed!

Can anyone help or assist?

-I unzipped the file into a folder I created called Color Palette.
-I then open the application and set my custom palette to my liking and then hit create following the path set under browse to where my .exe file is.
-I take the newly created .Pak file it creates and move it into my Mods folder.
-i load the game and my palette is still the same game default.

I am using GoG version 1.38 atlas rising.

can anyone shed some light here cause it sucks i cant get it to work cause this mod looks amazing does it possibly need an update?
