How do I assign named NPC's different equipment?

I want to change the starting equipment, armor and bow, for mama cousland in the noble origin story. I thought I saw a simple tutorial somewhere - maybe the wiki, on the naming conventions and how to do this. I can't seem to find it again. 2 hours wading through, and nothing.

 

It doesn't matter if all I can do is change to different default gear.

 

Any body know where I could look for the answer? or if simple enough just give me the codes?

You need the toolset for that, load up pallete window - creature.

Look for the creature you want to change.

Open the creature file and search for the equipment and change it.

The problem is with in game name and equipment name difference, for example commoner clothing ->gen_im_cth.
