Help - CTD When hit while blocking during combat

So there are only 2 threads on the internet that seem to share this problem https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/4653650-ctd-in-combat-when-blocking/

 

and the other one is a dead reddit thread posted by the same guy. In the thread it talks about how xaudio2_6.dll is trying to divide by zero etc etc.

 

The owner of these threads cite's the solution as what I assume is uninstalling PCEV. The issue is I don't have that many sound mods and the ones that we shared I uninstalled.

 

So I don't have PCEV but when I take a hit while blocking the game crashes. Now I've been managing by just using TK Dodge excessively but I would really like this fixed and im wondering if anyone has any pointers.

You seem to be using a lot of script heavy mods.

Try cleaning your save game.

 

Dual wield parrying and ultimate combat might be a cause but this could be due to an incompatibility or something. I'd go with cleaning your save game and making a new save game and blocking and seeing if you still crash. If you do not crash on a new save game it could be a save game issue.
