Some Mods download only to Skyrim

I own both Skyrim Special Edition and base Skyrim. When I download some mods with the Nexus Mod Manager, namely the Alternate Start mod, a new window of Nexus Mod Manager opens and instantly makes a profile for base Skyrim. The mod then downloads there and not on the profile I have open in another window of Skyrim Special Edition. I want all the dlc when I play so I need it to be on Special Edition rather than the base game. Any help is appreciated, thank you.

my guess is you are trying to download mods from the LE site rather than the SE site

Im sorry for not responding to the problem, but im new and im looking for ages for how to get silverdragon armor on xbox one since its not in the mod store and i dont know how to get it in the store or on my xbox, i love this armor since i first saw it and i really want to have this armor (for skyrim) special edition

well , this really has nothing to do with the topic , but I'll answer anyhow

if the mod has been converted to XBox , you should be able to find it on Bethesda's site

if it hasn't been converted , it really depends if you could get permissions to do so , and someone with the skill and time to do it (or learn how to do it yourself)

I can't help you , I'm not even sure which mod you are talking about , and I don't own an XBox , so I know nothing regarding console mods
