prodigium
Post your load order here, make sure you have the latest NVSE and if you have mods that alter your interface, you can try deleting the 'menus' folder in your 'data' folder and then reinstalling the mods. T00dl3s
I have the same Problem. My Loadorder: FalloutNV.esmProject Nevada - Core.esmProject Nevada - Equipment.esm I already tried to delete the Menus Folder and reinstall the Mod, but it had no Effect. When I load a saved game there is a Window at the beginning that explains the usage of the Grenade Hotkey and after I close this Window the Game crashes.I also tried to install it using NMM and after that I tried using FOMM Edited October 28, 2012 by T00dl3s
T00dl3s
Ok, seems like noone wants to help the helpless Guys here.Well, I watched a lil bit further into this and found out that MCM seems to be the Reasonfor the Crashes, no matter if I use the integrated Version of MCM in Project Nevada or the Standalone Version. So, doesn´t have anyone some Ideas how to solve this lil Problem please ?
someidiot777
It crashes only to the tutorial? If so, try to install all of the components and see what happens afterwards. Are you using the nvse loader to start?
luthienanarion
Do not install it with NXMM. Use FOMM instead.
Gribbleshnibit8
If it's crashing right after loading, 99% of the time it's because the menu .xml files are messed up. Go download uHUD (unified HUD project) and run it using FOMM (not NMM). That should fix the issue. As the other said, don't use NMM, only in very rare cases as it been reported to install PN correctly.
T00dl3s
Here´s the next Update: 1.) I am using FOMM to install2.) First I installed Project Nevada, after that MCM 1.5 and after that uHUD (Crashed shortly after loading)3.) Tried the same with MCM 1.2 (Crashed shortly after Loading)4.) Tried to install a different Mod (FOOK) with MCM 1.5 and uHUD (Crashed shortly after Loading)5.) Installed FOOK -> MCM 1.2 -> uHUD (works)6.) Every Time I deleted the Menus Folder before Installing7.) Tried to delete the Menus Folder after Installing Project Nevada, MCM 1.5, uHUD (Crashed after closing the Grenade Hotkey instructions Window)8.)Tried different Load Orders (No Effect) Well, I´m totally out of Ideas now. Gribbleshnibit8
Make sure all of your mods are in the correct order. My install order is PN, MCM, other mods (of any type, UI or otherwise), and then uHUD. I very rarely have an issue, and only if I do something in the wrong order. Did you try things one at a time? Just install PN by itself, and see if that works. If it does, then add another mod, say MCM. Don't install uHUD this time through, it should still work. If that does work, and you get to the main menu at least, you don't have a menu issue. So then try another mod, and just keep going like that until you have an issue. If you're not sure where the problem is, start from a clean slate.
