Lagruej
Hey everybody, I have done some simple reskins of vanilla meshes for pondfish. The problem is I have some nasty "solid seam" on the front of their faces. The vanilla fish appear to have it as well, but not really as noticeable.I tried extending the texture a little bit in that area, to see if it would cover it up - but it's not, so I'm assuming the problem is with the mesh itself. I also changed all texture to the unedited vanilla normal map, which I did NOT edit, and it still clearly shows this seam, which kinda proves it's not my textures. Then again, it could be my skins, but I don't see how. Here is a picture of what is happened:All of my fish do this - and I really can't see the texture being the issue because all I did was cutout and re-fill the vanilla textures, saved them with alpha layer so the fins worked right but this is the result. Not only does that glaring purple line not exist in my textures but it sticks out like a sore thumb on some of my brighter fish. Also ignore the horrid looks - that's actually the glass cubemap + nifskope causing that, it looks 10x better in-game lol Edited February 28, 2018 by Lagruej
