Daiuuus
So I loaded up an esm file (one from a mod) which has a spell in it.I changed the spell and saved it as a NEW esp with skyrim, update and the mod esm as masters.Put it at the end of my load order in MO but the changes don't show up ingame. Or do dragons resist stuff even if you tick the Disallow Spell Absorption/Deflect and Ignore Resistance?
varkonasnorse
Well, I'm no expert, but I'm pretty sure you can't just extract an object and save it as new. You have to right click on the object, in your case the spell, and create a duplicate. Then doubleclick the dup file and rename the file I.D. in the window, then save it. Hit OK at the bottom of the page and when it exits to the object window again, goto file, save. Now doubleclick your file again in the object window. That page will appear again, and you can rework your stuff. I think the reason you can't just copy the spell and save it with new filename is because when you try to use it it will still be looking for references from the original .esm file. So, your .esp file will be improperly placed in a file path the object is not designed to look for. Like I said, I'm no expert, but maybe there is one lurking here somewhere. Edited March 12, 2018 by varkonasnorse
