items not showing

Several clothing and weapons mods are not showing on the toon, any idea why?. this is a fresh install of Fallout 4.

invisible models? when you wear the clothing , does your character become invisible?

if so , your problem is probably missing meshes , which probably means something about your installation of these mods went wrong

do check the specific mods' pages , to make sure it's not a problem with the mod itself (sometimes mods aren't packaged correctly , though it's usually fixed after people report this)

it would also help to know which mods these are , how have you installed them etc

Did a fresh install before Vortex release. Most of the download were done with Vortex and a few from Bethesda. While most of the Vortex downloads work fine, several clothing mods and a coupple of weapon mods are invisiable. The toon dosn't appear to be holding the weapons and the clothing locations are all not showing. However it still seems that the items are equiping ok, just not showing. Had the same problem with the old NMM which I never solved

so it seems the problem is missing meshes

check that the mods are installed properly , that their files are actually in your data folder , in the correct path (that there is no accidental Meshes -> Meshes , or something of that sort)

also , verify that ArchiveInvalidation works (don't know how it's done in Vortex , as I have yet to test it)

 

does this happen to you with all modded items? do all mod added weapons and clothing appear invisible?

if so , maybe post on the Vortex forums , and ask for help

if it's only some of the mods , the problem is definitely on your end

 

also , have you had the same problem with the same mods? if so , check the mods' pages , see if others have reported similar errors

maybe someone has even posted a solution to this

if the problem is the same but with different mods , it's again just a problem on your end
