Did you ever fix this. I am now seeing this. As I get closer to nice snow surfaces they get blocky.

I thought it was DynDOLOD causing it by forgetting to deactivate a mod before building but with DynDOLOD deactivated in Mod Organiser 2 it's still there.
I don't have Better Dynamic Snow installed I removed it because of the bright white texture it applied to the lying down tree logs scattered around the landscape and bright white on some rock surfaces. I removed it and the BDS - Majestic Mountains patch I had, I have Majestic Mountains still installed but I did test by deactivating it. Same effect. Same with Enhanced Landscapes, no different on or off. I am using Nordic Snow no difference again on or off.
This effect isn't everywhere, just in some locations around the snowy areas. The above is down the slope from the Hall of the Vigilants of Stendarr, which is behind me.

Update. I have found what is causing the issue if you or anyone else needs to fix it.

It's this line in skyrimprefs.ini

It should say

[DISPLAY]

fShadowBiasScale=1

For some reason I can't recall why or when (using BethINI) it had been set to 0.15 change it back to 1 or remove the line, 1 is the default anyway.

For anyone having this problem, read on.

I did not realize that Mod Organizer has it's own ini files(Skyrim.ini, SkyrimPrefs.ini) for each profile, so I was scouring forums and trying all sorts of changes in the ini files located in My Documents. Obviously without success. :pinch:

After I made the changes requiered for an ENB to function correctly:

bFloatPointRenderTarget=1
bTreesReceiveShadows=1
bDrawLandShadows=1
bShadowsOnGrass=1
iMultiSample=0
iMaxAnisotropy=1
bFXAAEnabled=0

And the change posted above by Anya29: fShadowBiasScale=1, all is good! I even got an fps boost because my Skyrim is not putting in anisotropy together with the one from ENB lol. :laugh: :laugh: :laugh:
