Of all the RPGs I've played, Skyrim is certainly top of the food chain at the moment. The interaction with the environment; the effects; the animation... all of this just makes for a great game, to me. There's just one thing. With all the mods going out (and those I've used are great) is there a possibility that Bethesda might consolidate all these, and actually put it in the game? I mean, with everything you mod-writers have come up with, the player becomes almost superhuman!

What I would like to see, is a lot more interaction. I don't know if there's an Elder Scrolls VI being planned; but, if not, why not make Skyrim a true experience? For instance, after i finished the game the first time, I started over. Yet, this time I wanted to see how far I could push it, with all the mods and cheats and stuff. I got all my skills up to 5 billion! That's crazy, trust me. NOTHING can touch you then. And with some added mods, my character really ripped into those poor NPCs. But... it still felt a bit the same. Yes, NPCs were like bugs now. But, that was it.

Is it possible to expand on Skyrim (if no Elder Scrolls VI) in such a way, that you can destroy buildings as well; bash down walls and doors; tear out prison doors, instead of lockpicking... I'm just thinking here. Yeah, I know I've got quite an imaginations. This is the main reason I love RPG. And, also, there are times that the game just becomes too humdrum for me. Then I save, and just go wild! Wouldn't it be cool if the character can literally level an entire town (just for kicks)? And, when fighting an NPC (Orc, human, elf, etc) with a sword, wouldn't it be cool, if your character is at a certain level, and you can actually smash the NPC's sword, or break their shields in half? Also, and I've seen this in Duneon Siege II. If my character's attack level was strong enough, I could literaly tear an opponent apart! With Skyrim's much better animation (including kill shots), I think such an effect would be quite cool...If we don't mind the gore. But, then again, with an age restriction of 18 (in South Africa) and all the blood and guts already present, I don't see why not.

Oh and, in hindsight on the gore: If you do some reseach on what really went down, on medievel battlefields, then you'll quickly realize that - currently - Bethesda is being very light on us. Those places were riddled with body parts and intestines. So, maybe in the defence of realism, a more gory fight scene might not be that far fetched... I mean we already have cannibalism, vampirism, werewolves and other stuff in there.

Therer's some DLC coming out soon called Dawnguard

you can check it out at www.eldermods.com they have leaked info

However, they are just adding additional content, not new game mechanics like destroying buildings etc. That would be awesome though. I just think it would be resource intensive. If you drop a bunch of items in the middle of a town, sometimes when you come back it will be very glitchy. Each part of the building would have to be rendered like an item so I think it might be something we will see in a next-gen Elder Scrolls game.

Well, they started doing stuff like that in, for instance, Prototype. Although the damage would only go as far as vehicles (and trees:P) it was still quite surreal. What the game did there though, was to simply reset that specific area. So, it's doable. And, yes, I understand it's resource-heavy. And it would most certainly entail re-writing a lot of scripts, etc. But with all the new technology being constantly developed, almost daily, I'm quite certain it's doable - in a new game, of course.
