sirdrac
I created a custom home sometime ago and have been using it ever since. Works great in the game. I decided to create some followers, NPC's for the home and all works fine there too. However, if I go to export the characters for the facegen to get rid of the gray face bit, it does nothing. I went through the process that I thought I needed to go through, open my home esp file in TESNip, create an esm file, open the esm file in CK and click on my characters and ctrl+f4 to export their facegen files. When I do the ctrl+f4, it does nothing. I mean, nothing pops up, nothing happens, like it isn't working at all. I waited for a while to see if it was just taking its sweet time but still nothing. When I was in the esp file before I created the esm file, was when I created the characters. And from that esp file of my custom home, I was able to export the data for the characters there but not from the esm file. I am confused here as to what I am doing wrong. I was told I needed to do the exporting from an esm file and use the esm file only, not the esp file. Am I going about this all wrong here? Please, some help would be greatly appreciated. Oh, and the other thing is, if I create the characters as their own esp files, a standalone file not within my custom home file, I can create the esm file and export both esp and esm from there, just not from within my custom home esm file.
