behughes Posted April 10, 2012 Share Posted April 10, 2012 I'm not sure if this is the correct place to post this, but: I'm starting this thread here because I am putting together modding team for an ambitious project. The aim of this mod is to enhance the main storyline of Skyrim while remaining true to original plot, and to Elder Scrolls lore at large. This will be accomplished by enhancing dialogue, adding weight and significance to the player's choices, and diversifying the potential outcomes of those choices. If you felt like the main story of Skyrim was clunky and predictable, the characters were too one-dimensional, the choices didn't matter, or the quests were too simplistic, this project is for you! Though this may sound like an overly ambitious project, I have already set out a strategy for making the subtle changes need to make it happen. I am continuing to brainstorm new ideas, which you can read about in my request thread at http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/634471-main-questcivil-war-overhaul/. In short, the initial focus will be to systematically improve the existing quests and dialogue, with the eventual goal of adding new quests. characters, factions, etc. in the future. I have already begun work on this project, with limited success, so suffice it to say it is no longer a request but a mod in progress. However, I will need help to see this fully realized. For my part, I am mainly a writer, with limited technical skill, so I need help from at least one or two people with scripting experience. I do have some experience working in the Creation Kit, and I'm currently doing everything in my power to learn scripting, but for now, I need any help I can get. Though experience with scripting is a plus, I am looking for ANYONE who is interested in helping with this project. As it expands, more help will likely be needed with further creative development, voice acting, additional items, etc. Anyone who is interested in this project can PM me here on the nexus.
