leifyjai
When I try to launch Skyrim SE from the dashboard, I get an error related to "exePath". It causes Vortex to crash. Has anyone else had this problem? I mean, I can just launch Skyrim (actualy SKSE64/SkyrimSE) from its folder, but it seems like this "exePath" should be settable. Anyone know how to get this working? Update: I set up a launcher for Skse64, then set that as the default for the main launch button and now it doesnât crash. Still not sure why the main launcher wasnât initially configured to just point to SkyrimSE.exe after the initial installation though. But whatever, works now! :)
leifyjai
I'm also getting an error and crash when I try to "reinstall" a mod. I can "remove" then install, no problem, but when I try to "reinstall", I get the following error message, then Vortex crashes. This error and crash, I figured out, was due to the mod archive file not being installed in the Vortex directory tree structure. After the migration from NMM, all my mod archive files are still located in NMM-land, so Vortex did not know how to handle the re-install request without the mod archive. Still, I would call this a bug. Rather than a crash, maybe a dialog box saying there is no archive and maybe even letting the user direct Vortex to the path for the mod archive. For that matter, it would be nice for Vortex to offer the option, when migrating, to let the user choose whether to leave the mod archive(s) in NMM-land, or to copy or move the arxhive(s) to Vortex territory as part of the migration. Hey I just want to give a big THANKS!!! for all the work to provide us with such a cool mod management tool! Thank you!!!
